This artifact is an Assyrian stela from the Temple of Nabu in the Nimrud region of Iraq. The stela depicts King Shamshi-Adad V, who ruled approximately from 823 BC to 811 BC. The stela is believed to date back to around 814 BC, which is more than 800 years before the birth of Christ.
The stela shows the king worshipping symbols of the gods. There is a cross on the king's chest, serving as a symbol of the sun god.
Through his attire, King Shamshi-Adad V is depicted as the king of Babylon, following the defeat of Marduk-balassu-iqbi in 814 BC.
