When we open the Bible and look at the Song of Songs, we find passages of a sexual nature and others that may seem humorous. Let us mention an example of a humorous passage from the Song of Songs.
It is stated in Song of Songs 6:6:
“Your teeth are like a flock of sheep coming up from the washing, each bearing twins, and none among them is bereaved.”
From the above text, we see that the verse compares the beloved’s teeth to a flock of sheep that have borne twins and come up from washing.
Is this a reasonable comparison?
